Day 1
Fly overnight to Johannesburg.
Day 2
Connect with a short onward flight to Windhoek. Here you will be met and driven to your accommodation for a full pre-trip briefing. This evening we can arrange dinner at one of Windhoek's great restaurants.
Day 3
A private charter flight south today for a two night stay in a desert camp close to Sossusvlei.
Day 4
A dawn start today for your privately guided excursion deep into Sossusvlei. Climb one of the towering red dunes and walk on the eerie dead vlei to get a real appreciation of this ancient landscape.
Day 5
Another private charter flight today to the coastal town of Swakopmund. Head out for dinner this evening to sample some fabulous seafood.
Day 6
An exclusive tour today to Sandwich Harbour in the Namib Naukluft Park today. A full day out visiting one of Namibia's most important coastal wetlands and some exciting driving over the roaring dunes.
Day 7
Your own catamaran charter today for a relaxing morning sailing excursion in the Southern Atlantic in search of the Namibian Marine Big 5.
Day 8
A thrilling morning on a private quad biking tour through the sand dunes. Adrenaline guaranteed and some excellent photographic opportunities. This afternoon your hire cars will be delivered.
Day 9
Set off north today on your self-drive adventure.
Day 10
With a private chef, vehicle and guide your days on safari are your own to plan. At the end of the day head "home" for sundowners and a braai under the stars.
Day 11
From your exclusive safari accommodation you can enjoy a full day trip into Etosha National Park. A memorable day of 'up close and personal' wildlife sightings and never ending horizons across the salt pan.
Day 12
Back on the road today as you journey south for an overnight on the famous Okonjima Reserve. Later today head out into the reserve with your private guide for a nature drive with a focus on tracking the elusive leopard.
Day 13
Your final drive will take approximately three and a half hours, ending at Windhoek airport where you drop off the hire car. It's then a short hop to Johannesburg and an overnight flight back home.
