With an attractive mountainous location and a warm welcome extended to all, Corona Guest Farm is ideally positioned for travellers to break up journeys between Windhoek and Sossusvlei or Swakopmund. Corona is close to the precipitous Gamsberg Pass, which can be a difficult route during the wet season but makes for an incredibly scenic drive when conditions are fine. There is a selection of accommodation types, from relatively simple tents to large family suites in the main lodge building and comfortable double and twin chalets in the gardens. All of these make for a pleasant stay, even if some of the décor could be described as a little twee.

There is a swimming pool in the gardens with stunning views out to the rolling mountains and valleys, which are particularly beautiful in the green season. The main farm building, decorated in a seemingly random assortment of antiques and trinkets, has an open plan lounge, bar and dining area, perfect for communal meals for sociable guests. Although we would mainly recommend Corona for some down time in a lovely, tranquil setting, there is also plenty to do should you wish to get out on the farmland, including horse riding, nature drives and some outstanding scenic hikes.
