Only a short drive from the shopping and culture of the city centre, and within walking distance of some relatively lively restaurants and bars, all you could need is within short travelling distance. The six en-suite rooms also make everything easy for guests, with modern facilities such as a television and air conditioning, coupled with unfussy, crisp design features that provide plenty of light and comfort.

The pleasant gardens offer a decent sized swimming pool to relax behind the privacy of a high wall and electrical gate, where there is also secure parking for self-drivers. There is no restaurant on site but a satisfying buffet breakfast is included along with coffee and tea, which can be enjoyed throughout the day in a comfortable lounge with a library and DVD player. Although not the most luxurious or characterful option in Windhoek, the Elegant Guesthouse is cosy, convenient and well-priced.
