The only lodge inside the Skeleton Coast National Park, Shipwreck Lodge capitalises on it’s position to give guests a revealing insight into life in this remote environment.

There are only 10 rooms and each has been designed to tie into the shipwreck theme – as has the main area and restaurant, which boasts panoramic views over the surrounding area.

Activities include trips to the coastline itself and the seal colonies and shipwrecks, but also include drives along the Hoarusib River, quadbiking, game drives within the National Park and 4×4 excursions to the Clay Castles and Hoanib River Delta. Accessible to self-drivers and those on a fly-in trip, we suggest a 3 night stay to make the most of this incredible lodge.
